It has been a few years since Derek Forss arranged our last DCC holiday, and the one in 2020 was cancelled due to COVID. Since then Derek has retired from organising these holidays, so we ran a survey with members and were pleased that the response was positive – DCC holidays are back in business.
Gareth Balle is now ‘tour operator’, and arranged four days for eight members in the Derby Dales, staying in the charming old town of Buxton.
Having visited the area previously, David Balaam mapped out a three day itinerary, and using two cars, our intrepid explorers visited many wonderful sights; buildings, waterfalls, old train depots, breath-taking landscapes, and lots more.
Gareth is planning to visit a new destination in May 2026, so keep an eye out for further information.
