The visit will include the following:
Arrival and health and safety introduction, larger groups are then divided. Please note that the maximum number we are able to have on each visit is 30.
Tours. Consisting of – Main hangar and Fly Zone Room (These contain the inside of an A350 Upper class cabin, a Helicopter which you can climb into, the nose section of a Canberra aircraft and an Islander cockpit. Our Typhoon simulator is also located in our Fly Zone Room. Should you wish to use the simulator there is an additional cost of £2.50 per child and £2.50 per adult (usually £4.50) (Minimum height restriction of 1.1meter, also an adult is required to accompany children on the ride) Gatwick Airport exhibition. Here you will find a timeline showing the History of Gatwick Airport. Finally a Visit to The Shackleton Aircraft. (Please note that access into this aircraft will not be available due to Health and Safety reasons).
Should you wish to you could always take a walk to the viewing area to see the Planes taking off from Gatwick’s runway followed by a trip to the Museum gift shop.
