Benz World - Brooklands
An
opportunity to spend 2 -3 hours at the flagship of Mercedes Benz showroom which
includes several driving experience tracks, speed tracks and the building
itself which is a modern minimalistic structures with simple shapes, hidden
angles and corners and great views over the testing tracks. Potential
photographic opportunities are:
Architecture; Minimalistic geometry and forms; Angles and
perspectives; Vehicle details and closeup; Vehicles in motion – panning,
drifting, motion blur, ICM.
To make sure
we experience some car testing and speed laps as well as going through the
sprinklers, these are the timings for the driving experience sessions: 12:30 14:30 1530 16:00.
We can arrive at the venue half an
hour beforehand to see the preparations, close look at the supercars, etc. I suggest meet up at either 12:00 or 13:00 and there is
free parking on site, shop, food and beverages, facilities. Bogdan can pick up other 3 members in his
car if interested.

The venue is
approx. 10 minutes from M25: (Junction 10 northbound, Junction 11 southbound) –
or to avoid the current Roadworks at Junction 10, I suggest using the A245 from
Leatherhead past Cobham and up to Byfleet where there are signs to Mercedes
World.
